Fun Sunday(s) Project: PIR Activated LED Lights in Safe/Hallway

Wiring up LED lights inside a safe...

Please Note: You will need a Multi-meter, which I am going to go purchase later today.
Some new tools and connectors came in today 2015-10-03:
A pair of nice wire strippers, a cheap multi-meter(hey it's back lit), some male and female barrel connectors(this will allow me to make the shelves adjustable), a new 40 watt Weller soldering Iron, cheap speaker wire and the Hakko 599B-02 Solder Tip Cleaning Wire and Holder(Simply Awesome). The Hakko(solder tip cleaner) is probably the coolest tool of all of them it is brass and cleans the excess solder of the soldering tip. I had way better results when using it as the tip stayed hot enough without all the extra thermal mass added by solder buildup. Additionally before you heat up your iron make sure the tip is bottomed out, figured this out on day 2.
Update: I finished this project on Sunday the 11th after passing the Google Apps for Work Administrator test.

Yes I keep the flags in my safe, not particularly worried about someone taking them but I don't want them to fall over and touch the floor.
After Wrapping up my safe it was time to fix the no light key fumbling issue, unfortunately the pictures don't do the hall justice.
The black box with the white dome is the PIR sensor.
I decided since this lighting issue also affects doing dishes why not light up that area as well.
